We’re extremely proud and privileged to share with you our very own Little Pink Book Styled Shoot! Summer fun hits the blog with bold, vibrant and dramatic colours in this Styled Shoot conceptualised through Celeste Styled Events for Little Pink Book. As colour inspiration, the focus was on watermelon pink and emerald green – not your conventional selection.
When conceptualising it is very important that one does not merely focus on the ideas behind a colour or theme selection but also to ensure the personalities of that client is reflected in the way the theme is implemented. In this shoot we are shown how these colours can be implemented for two very different brides:
Our first bride can typically be expected of a fun-loving, bubbly, lively and even adventurous bride – one that hates the expected approach. We combined various white props and containers and off-set the neutral look with bright pops of colour. Pink candlesticks extended the look skywards while mint green and blushing peach ribbon ran the length of the table. In keeping with the theme our bride wore a knee length flirtatious dress with mint green lining. This girlie dress brings out the free spirit in a fly-by-night, dream-by-day playful way and could not have paired better with the fun look we were working towards. Rosie cheeks and sparkling eyes on a beautiful complexion is the make-up look of this cheerful and summer shoot. Gents styling was equally chic and casual with statement pieces kept to colour pops.
Our second bride is one of stature, who enjoys a more elegant and sophisticated look but presented in a bright, beautiful way. Tired of the conventional palettes, this bride wants to make a dramatic statement with royal elements to up-scale the entire look. Splashes of colour are bound by gold while symmetry plays a big role towards a balanced look. Our bride wore a natural toned knee-length dress with structured satin ribbon lines. Posed and tailored in a true lady-like manner. A natural and neutral clean look was the make-up approach used on this bride; her inner radiance and confident demeanour are what draws attention most. Gents styling was done using a coppery, rose gold bow tie while the perfected tailored suit fit the confidence of the bride.
