Wedding Inspiration – Geometrics Styled Shoot

Heart

Today’s Wedding Inspiration: This wedding season has seen the return arrival of geometrics being used in retro, art deco and modernism terms. Obtuse bending of the theme allows us to present an unconventional approach- showcasing a more industrial edge. Using the far underestimated copper metal as main styling element a structure was designed that forms the mould into, and on which, various glass containers could be rested. Not only was copper used in metal format but it was also simulated through the use of vibrant tulips and safari sunsets – all typical of this rich metal colour.

While the invisibility of the ghost table and glass containers create an atmosphere of clarity and aloft design without hindrance of the landscape view. Incorporating geometrics such as the honeycomb on the chairs and on the upside down cake, shape of the terrariums, as well as the cylinder tubes just goes to show how human architecture does draw inspiration from nature. Faceted hearts on the wedding invites served as a glimpse of what was set to come and was used straight through for a well constructed portfolio. A non-invasive, architecturally designed table set within the beautiful Boland settings of the Language Monument allowed us to play up the theme and manipulate an organic-meets-human design.
