Wendy McLeod started taking cake decorating classes about 3 years ago and she loved cake design and sugar craft so much that she took the huge step of doing a 6 week Professional Baking and Decorating Diploma course at the renowned Peggy Porschen Academy in Belgravia, London in late 2012.
Wendy McLeod works from a dedicated work kitchen at home and treats each client with the personalised attention that they deserve from their first consultation through to the culmination of creating the perfect wedding cake to complement their special day
Wendy McLeod’s special area of interest and expertise is in sugar floristry and she loves making beautiful, natural looking handcrafted flowers in sugar. Cake design and decorating has revolutionised over the years and Wendy’s aim is to blend the modern lines of the present with traditional piping in royal icing and skilfully made sugar flowers to create beautiful designs of timeless elegance. With her training and expertise, brides can have total confidence in her ability to create the memorable cake they want to be part of their wedding day.
All work is done using food safe ingredients and wherever possible is fully edible.
