Shaun & Michelle, Likweti Lodge & Sanctuary, Nelspruit

What a magical place the Lowveld is in winter – and Michelle and Shaun chose the most perfect day of the year to have their wedding in Nelspruit – at the Likweti Lodge & Sanctuary (previously K’Shani).
With two rhino’s lazing in the background, the bride walked down the isle in a gorgeous lace and tulle creation from Lady Marmelaide. (Lots of credit to Michelle for her choice of shoes also – from SA designer Errol Arendz, one of my favourites!)
The simple, elegant table and isle arrangements were done by Shaun’s mom and we especially loved the heart theme that was carried through, as well as the damask pattern on all the stationery.
Our favourite part of the wedding, excepting maybe Michelle’s round on the DJ’s drums (she played like a complete pro), must be the couple session…perfect lighting, Van Gogh-like landscapes of yellow and blue…sigh!
