It’s a done deal – and done in superlative style! A first class combination of glamour, excitement and fun, SA Weddings Bride of the Year 2009 went off to great applause as each of the 12 lovely finalists brought their own unique brand of beauty to the occasion.
The grand finale took place at the fittingly prestigious Val de Vie Polo Estate on 13 February. The 200-strong audience comprised the finalists’ friends and loved ones, as well as 50 media VIP’s and celebrities. Following the opening act to the main show – a visually dramatic fashion show courtesy of Cavendish Square – the 12 leading ladies went head to head for the coveted title, and R100 000 worth of prizes. Altogether, R200 000 worth of prizes were awarded to contestants and guests.
