Proteas crush India in just four days
India made a valiant effort to stave off an innings defeat against South Africa in the first test at Jamtha Stadium in Nagpur yesterday, but in the end it was to no avail as they crashed to an innings-and-six run defeat. The Proteas’ win was set up by a mammoth 340-run third wicket, first innings partnership between Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis, which knocked the stuffing out of the home side.
