I was at the St George’s Cathedral again this week for Monique and Paul’s wedding. Their reception was held at the popular The Bay Hotel (Ratanda) in Camps Bay. Some techno jargon for all the photographers out there – This is the first wedding I shot with my new Canon 1D mk4 and to be honest…. this thing kicks butt!! I was never completely comfortable with my 5D mk2 and always preferred using the 1D mk3 as my main body.   Assistant: Mark Chipps    

I ended off 2009 on a high note with a beautiful beach wedding at Die Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein.   Assistant: Paul Oosthuizen     These little paper fans was the ‘seating plan’ Paul and Marleen só easy to work with (and funny!)
