Served in style

There’s no doubt that canapés offer the chance to create miniature works of culinary art, with all sorts of exciting flavours included in just a single bite. However, it’s not just the canapés that should be interesting; it’s also how you serve them! Gone are the days of dull trays or platters, today there are all sorts of fun options.
Using mirrors as trays always looks very striking. As they catch and reflect light, they add visual interest to the food. They also look particularly good if they have beautiful or unusual frames.
Blackboards add a rustic element and they’re also very practical: you can easily write out the name of the canapés being served.
Catering companies will also have interesting ideas, such as using clear Perspex trays that hold individual portions of canapés. Be sure to explore what options they have available and don’t be scared to innovate!
