Aleit Event Projects recently coordinated the ABSA Capital IMN Event which was hosted at The Roundhouse in Cape Town. Guests enjoyed cocktails, Champagne and tapas on arrival, followed by a delectable three course dinner. A tasteful charcoal and white decor scheme set the tone for the evening, while views of Camps Bay and the Atlantic provided the perfect backdrop. As these photos by Joe show, this intimate corporate event was nothing less than elegant.

The Absa Wealth Chef’s Plate Event took place on Thursday, 22 October 2009 at Cotage Fromage, Vrede & Lust. Absa Wealth participated in a charity auction and was granted the prize of Duncan Doherty, together with five other chefs, cooking for their guests.
20 clients together with their partners attended the event, which was set apart by an exceptional array of delectable food. Guests enjoyed pre-drinks and canapés on the patio area while being entertained by a jazz duo. Afterwards they dined at one long table and enjoyed a bowl food menu, in which each chef prepared one course. These gorgeous photos...

Aleit Event Projects recently coordinated the ABSA Capital Cape Town Year-end Event, which was a snazzy occasion hosted at The Runway in Cape Town. With the sounds of Goldfish and Nomfusi creating a lively but sophisticated vibe, it was the perfect evening to round off 2009.
The gorgeous decor was expertly put together by Floral Affairs and Johnny from The Aleit Group, who envisioned a club/lounge party theme. The look incorporated both organic and classic furniture, coupled with modern decor elements, all from FOCI, Okasie and Lounge Around.
Stir created an array of tempting canapés for the evening, while...

When couples draw up their guest lists, the question often arises as to whether children should be included. For some couples it’s not even an issue; they can’t imagine them not being part of the experience. But although children are adorable, they can be unpredictable! That’s why other couples prefer to keep the guest list limited to adults, either because they don’t want to risk the sounds of a tantrum during the ceremony or because their wedding is going to continue into the early hours of the morning.
If you don’t want to have children at your wedding, simply state it on your...

How did you meet?
We met through mutual friends in London. Unbeknown’s to me Alex was the guy in my housemate’s bedroom singing Roxanne by Sting repeatedly until 4am! He did come around the next day to apologize after he realized I had moved in. It took him two weeks to ask me out!
How did he propose?
We were walking along the Thames River passing Tower Bridge and taking in the sites when he popped the question, it was very romantic!
The wedding day? Tell us what you felt and experienced.
The day was absolutely perfect! The night before they had forecast rain but the weather turned out stunning....

How did you meet?
Not the most exciting of starts. I had been to a very dull client event and had hooked up with a friend later to try to find an exciting evening out! We ended up in a bar I never usually went to and were accosted (ok, so the 2 versions of this story vary!) by JP and his friends. Despite getting off to a rocky start (I thought he was Dutch and called PJ!) the rest is history!
How did he propose?
Despite one of the coldest weekends I can remember we had travelled to Cambridge for a post-Christmas weekend together. On the Saturday it was below freezing but JP insisted we should go for a traditional...
