Wedding planning books and folders have taken off recently, there are at least three on the market that I know of and have reviewed for our September Wedding Inspirations Magazine. These books are designed to keep all your contacts and plans in one place, easily accessible and organised. There is something wonderful about holding a book full of hand written information, samples, business cards and scraps of paper – it has…longevity, sentimentality.
1. The starting point of Planning a Wedding – Magadi Mohasoa
2. Pure Edge Innovations Planning File
3. Brides Friend Wedding Planner

Then there is the Virtual Wedding Planner which is really quite remarkable. It is a “stand-alone software package designed to manage the planning of a wedding”. I think this might be the way of the future. No more little scaps of paper, business cards floating around – you’ll have everything on your computer. Its easy to use and definitely not scary for the not so computer orientated bride.
The great thing about planning software/books/folders is that there is something for everyone. The scrapbookers and more tactile brides can go for the books, well the no-mess-no-fuss, uber organised bride will probably prefer the software.
Watch out for my review on the books and software in the next edition of Wedding Inspirations magazine.
